She didn’t appear to check whether our room was ready or not and just told us to come back at 2pm as that’s check in time. We arrived around midday, didn’t find anyone at reception and after waiting 10 minutes had to go down to the restaurant to find someone. Highly recommend you stay here!

Yes, guests often enjoy the mountain view available here. But the real highlight is the exterior - when we pulled into this Hotel our eyes lit up! Interlaken Ost railway station is a 10 min walk away. The kids had lots to do including the games in the back garden and the brilliant bikes which we took out for a spin. Room number 10 has an amazing view of mountains, waiting for the next trip to Interlaken !While checking for rooms on Booking, we noticed that several hotels said (shared restroom) and there weren’t many options left for that night but we didn’t see anywhere on Booking.com saying that this hotel had shared restrooms so we reserved it, but upon arrival the lady brought to our attention that this room shared a restroom and shower and that in the confirmation email it mentioned that, which it did “in the confirmation” but not while reserving!
